What our Clients Say

I began being a Power to the Pawz customer in May of 2018. My only regret is that I didn't start sooner. The year before I took the 'cheap' way out and it ended up costing me thousands of dollars and a very sick dog.

That is when I decided to try Power to the Pawz. I am a customer for life now.

I am always amazed at the level of care that is given to my fur babies. Each and every person that I have helped with my dogs has been outstanding. I utilize Power to the Pawz Pet Sitting Service. I get daily updates and PICTURES! They take care of my dogs as if they were the pet parents. My dogs didn't even miss me, they had so much fun with Darlene and Gia. When my Marley became terminally ill, I started using the dog walking service so he would be checked on the days I could not come home for lunch. I was so comfortable and relieved that Marley had a team of caring loving individuals that helped him during his failing health. I got updates via text/calls on concerns with his breathing... and I got email updates when everything was looking fine.

My fur kids actually like it now when I pack a bag. They know that their other family is coming to play with them and take care of them.

If I could give 10 stars to Power to the Pawz I would. They are the best caregivers around....

We have been using Beth and Power to the Pawz to train our Mascot Pup, Abbie over the last few months. We signed up for her Platinum Fearful Dog Program because Abbie is a Rescued American Staffy whom has a few issues with people touching her that she doesn't know and a fear of other dogs that turns into aggression if the dogs get too close. We are working through these issues with Beth and have seen such AMAZING improvement on both fronts over the last few months. When you adopt a dog that is afraid of being pet or seems 'aggressive' towards other dogs it is scary and stressful and frustrating. We have moved beyond the scared, stressful, and frustrating time and are looking forward to a much easier future!

I used Power to the Pawz for the first time last weekend to watch my 4 pups and 1 kitten while I was out of town. I found Beth and Ryan to be full-on amazing! I got updates and pictures with every visit and they did a great job keeping up with the multiple medications for my 3 geriatric dogs. I will most definitely use them again and I recommend them to anyone who cares about their pets receiving the best of care, attention, and affection. I found Beth and her team as a referral from my vet - I knew I could trust that recommendation!

We have used Power to the Pawz for over a year when no one else would take our dog after she had one provoked bite due to liability. We were referred to Beth at Power to the Pawz by our dog trainer, Debbie Ferrell. Our dog is very anxious, and we explained to Beth the situation and she agreed to come to our apartment for a house visit and brought along one of her pet sitters, Ryan, that specializes in anxious dogs. Ryan and Beth were so incredible with our dog and knew exactly how to handle anxious dogs. We have used Ryan and Power to the Pawz for several weekend trips over the past year and we receive pictures and reassurance that our anxious dog is being taken care of, and also working on her manners! After using Power to the Pawz for a year, we can 100% recommend them to others.

2 years ago while traveling to Houston for a big presentation. I left my 2 staffers and American bulldog in the hands of a recommended pet sitter who was allegedly bonded ~ insured. He showed me paperwork I signed it. On my way back from Houston I get a call from him saying there had been a little accident. He said all was good. I get home to a bloody towel and my littlest girl bleeding In her crate. I called our vet ~ brought her in and called the sitter and asked for his insurance to cover the $400 vet bill. Well he did not have insurance and he wanted to get paid. He was yelling on the phone explaining I had Pitbulls and well they are pitbulls with a bad reputation.

I did not pay him. He told me he was not responsible for what happened. ( to this day I don’t know what happened). One of the vet techs at HVC recommended Beth Bowers. She came to my home and spent 2 hours meeting the dogs and discussing personalities of each member of my family. I’ve been using her services now for 2 1/2 years. Amazing!

Beth trains our dogs. Beth’s team is extremely professional and any request I have they make sure it is taken care of. I do not worry when I travel because I know my dogs are in exceptionally good hands. They stay for overnights, walk the dogs and treat them as family. Her company is one of the most licensed and certified in dog CPR and nationally recognized. She and her team are worth the peace of mind. My dogs love their sitter companion.

Most loved and trusted experiences for the last 2 1/2 years.
Thank you for caring for my family.

JUST AMAZING! Beth understands how a dog thinks. She came to my home and sat down with us and wanted to understand what our expectations were with training our sweet 12 week old Lab puppy, Madison. She is all about the positive reinforcement of the good behavior. She spoke to me in a way that made me understand why Madison was doing the undesired behavior and how we correct it. Thank you Beth for training us how to be better pet parents. You exceeded my expectations!

I’m a pet sitter and I took my Pet CPR Certification with Power To The Pawz and it was the best investment. Beth and Potato are great teachers and you’ll have a fun time, meet many people, and get certified at the same time. I HIGHLY recommend Beth for your Pet CPR Certification needs.

We have the most wonderful experience hiring Power to the Pawz!!! Our entire family was able to get away for a 7 day vacation and not have to worry about our 4 dogs, 2 turtles, and our ferret! They made sure they knew everything about our pets and loved them like their own. We got reports from every visit including pictures of our pets which helped put us at ease knowing our pets were happy and well cared for. I 150% recommend this company and we will use them again in the future.

Beth has an innate ability to read and communicate with the pets she is training with. She has an incredible gift in sizing up and feeling out dogs in all behavior and training levels and find ways to communicate and work with them. She is an incredible trainer and pet behaviorist that uses positive reinforcement training for an overall happier pet and pet parent!

We love love love boarding our pug Hannah with Beth and her team when we go out of town. We say that Hannah is going on vacation too. Lol. She gets to play with other pups and comes home exhausted from all the play. Beth and her team are super responsive and always send us pics of Hannah living her best life. They pick Hannah up and bring her home which is so helpful when you’re trying to get out of town and are tired after coming home from travel. They even have a texting system that lets me know when she’s arrived safely and when she’s on her way home. There is no one I would trust more with our fur baby.

Last weekend I attended Beth Bowers' pet first aid and CPR class. If you work with animals or just have family pets I highly recommend taking this course. I learned so much and it is hands-on. She will answer any and all questions you may have. You never know when you will need to use some of the skills she teaches. Amazing course!

I cannot say enough good things about Beth and Power To The PawZ. Beth was referred by our very trusted veterinarian. We have a very stubborn breed and we were struggling to get consistency with commands. Beth came in and provided us with tips, tricks, and a great training plan. Our puppy transformed into a well-behaved and attentive dog. Beth’s expertise is invaluable! She is very flexible and easy to schedule with as well! We’ll be utilizing her maintenance program to work towards AKC titles and potential therapy dog work.

Beth is amazing! She has really helped our family (and continues to help) adjust our behavior to help our fur baby have the best environment possible to be her best self. We rescued a dog about a year ago that is leash reactive and fearful of men. Beth has been an integral part of the dog being able to remain part of our family. She has gone (and continues to go) above and beyond to help both us and our fur child gain confidence and skills. As far as I'm concerned, she and her team are the best!

We fostered a shelter dog (Doberman-Rottweiler mix) this summer who was out of control. She was adopted twice during our fostering and returned both times because of her behavior. The shelter connect us with Beth and from the very first session, the dog's behavior improved radically. As important as the training the dog got, we were taught how to "read" the dog and how to train her. After maybe 6-7 sessions with Beth, most of the bad behaviors were gone. We recently enrolled the dog in an agility program and she's done great - she loves to learn and pciks up quickly. All that's really due to the foundation Beth created. Beth's now working with 2 of our neighbors, both of whom have similar results.

We are very happy after having Beth meet and assess our dog. Unlike other dog training services that charge upfront hundreds of dollars without knowing the pet, she called and got to know more information, she then met with us for one session and told us her recommendation for our dog. We learned what to do and know the issues we were having with our dog are starting to fade away. She has a deep love for animals and she continues to follow up to check in on our progress. She has been absolutely amazing!

We have been thrilled with our experience working with Beth. We were new pet owners who had rescued a terrier with lots of energy. We had been referred to Beth through one of our friends who had used her previously. Even when we were having a trial with our dog, deciding whether she was a good fit for us or not, Beth answered our questions over the phone and did all this not knowing if we were going to adopt her. We did adopt her and immediately called and had Beth set up for training.

From the moment she walked into the door, our dog was enthralled with her. Beth has such a way and understanding with them. She helped our entire family (kids too) learn what we needed to do to start to build that relationship with our dog and train her at the same time to help find a balance in our house. Almost 6 months later and we have a cohesive family with our newest fur member. Thank you Beth!!!

Beth is the BEST. She transformed my stubborn biting little piranha puppy into the fun, goofy, well-behaved puppy she is now. Beth uses only positive reinforcement and my dog LOVES her. Before taking us as a client, Beth made sure the humans were committed to the training process and she has helped train me to continue training my pup.
