The stress of boarding (even at the best places) is not always an ideal environment for learning, so I created an option for pet parents to keep the pet at home but still get trained! When you’re home or provided with a key, we will come to your home to work individually with the dog without human coaching. We don’t mind if you’re present, but our focus is on the dog at that time. Your human coaching session will happen at the end of the week!

Our program is 100% fear-free, and we focus heavily on positive reinforcement. We do not use aversive tools such as e-collars, shock collars, prong collars, choke collars, or other devices that a dog perceives as punishment to cause pain, fear, or intimidation.

We want to motivate the dog to WANT to work with you, not fear what will happen if they don’t.

Requirements

FOR THE DOG

Two days a week – 45-Minutes a day – for a minimum of 6 weeks 

(Total of twelve 45-Minute sessions)

FOR THE PET PARENTS

One 60-Minute session before the program begins and one 60-Minute session after each week of training – all household members must attend all PET PARENT sessions (Total of seven 60-Minute sessions to coach you on new cues and how to reinforce the training)

Days are dependent on both owner’s schedule, our availability, and your dog’s needs

It would be best if you worked with us at least once a week so that we can work with you to make sure all cues are consistently reinforced.

Unfortunately, we can’t take additional time after each dog-only session to meet with the pet parents. Plus, the dog will be exhausted, and this time is better spent in a private pet-parent session, which is included in your package every week. We want to allow ourselves the time to explain and practice all cues and variables with you. If you cannot meet in-person that week, we can schedule a virtual call to review and coach you! If that isn’t an option either, the next week’s dog sessions will be postponed so that owner is kept up to date with where the dog’s training is at that time, and we keep it all aligned with proper reinforcement.

What we Teach: Sit, Down, Look, Wait/Release, Stay, Come, Leave-It, Drop-It,  Leash Manners, No Jumping, Mouthing/Nipping, Place/Park-It, and Touch! We can also customize this if there are additional items your dog needs help with!

If the dog has specific behavioral challenges that require more time, it can be continued a week at a time!

19 Total Sessions – 12 sessions with one dog and 7 weekly sessions with you!

A second dog can be added for an additional cost and add 45-Minutes to the scheduled dog sessions each week.

Additional weeks can be purchased for an additional cost per week (2 more dog-only sessions + 1 pet parent session)
